Here is the wrap up from Week 6 in the CTL.

Tuesday June 16th

Glastonbury Pirates 8 – Willimantic Ridges 4

Bill Eller pitched 6 innings for the win and had 3 hits and 3 RBI’s to lead the Pirates.

Elmer’s Place Silver Bullets 7 – Moodus Nationals 2

Alex Fretz pitched a complete game allowing 5 hits and 2 unearned runs in the win.  Chris Anselmo and Ken Cook led the offense with 2 hits and 2 RBI’s a piece.

 

Wednesday June 17th

East Hartford Angels 7 – Brickhouse Indians 7.  Game called after 7 innings due to darkness.

Scott Kelleher hit a solo home run for Angels.  John Skinner pitched a complete game with 7 K’s for Indians

Portland Panthers 6 – Chicago Sam’s Orioles 4

Don Fodaski had 3 hits for Orioles.

 

Thursday June 18th

East Hartord Angels 2 – Elmer’s Place Silver Bullets 1

Tom Queno tossed a complete game with 5 striekouts.  Mike D’Antonio had 2 RBI’s for the Angels.  Jordan Sanchez had 2 hits for Elmer’s.

Portland Panthers 5 – Loco Perro Expos 0

Doug Evans threw a four-hit shutout.  John Stetz and Jake Narvesen each had an RBI double.  James Bolstridge and Anthony Chirico each had an RBI single.

Moodus Nationals 3 – Glastonbury Pirates 2

Mike Sturgess out pitched Zack Cloft for the win.  Adam Michaud got the save for Moodus.
