The #6 Seed Bristol Knights have played a lot already this post-season, going 4-1 in the last week plus to get to the finals, along the way playing and beating the #5, #4, #3, and #2 seeds. Awaiting them in the finals is the team that beat them in ALL 4 matchups in the regular season… the top seeded East Hartford Angels. The Angels got into the Championship Series in walkoff fashion on Monday by defeating defending champion and #2 seed Glastonbury Pirates. The Knights knocked out Glastonbury the next night, denying them the rematch in the finals. It should provide a good series as the Angels haven’t faced the Knights since they’ve been playing their best ball late in the year. It’s anyone’s title to win.

The games were supposed to start today, Wednesday, but the early downpours forced a postponement to tomorrow, THURSDAY 8/14. Hopefully you’ll all join us at the park to see a champion crowned tomorrow or Friday if necessary.
