After 5 Weeks of play… still some disparity in games played because or rainouts, but some things are starting to separate. The Black Sox have risen to the top as we approach the halfway point in the season, with the Angels and Rock Cats not far behind… and the Rockies starting to surge. The Angels still have not lost, but they have been tied twice. The CTL allows for ties due to most teams not having access to lighted fields, and the problems contining games on another date potentially pose. The Black Sox have been dominant as of late, with Kerski and Hinckley leading the way on the mound and at the plate. The Rock Cats offense has carried them early in the season, and they hit consistently. The Rockies started slow, but now as we are in June have started returning to the form of their back to back championship ways. The Knights started very cold, missing many players, but as of late have started to play well and turn it on. The expansion patriots could easily have 4 wins, but have lost a handful of very close games. The Aftershock had a tough week in week 5, going 0-3 (including 2 vs the Black Sox), but look to rebound after their strong start. The Dodgers have been hindered by injuries early in the season and hope to put it together for the home stretch.
