Baseball is Back! The Connecticut Twilight League Regular Season opener is Friday, May 14th at Muzzy Field in Bristol. Come down and watch some great local baseball players begin the 2021 season. The opening game features the Southington Aftershock battle the home team Bristol Knights at 8:15PM. The Aftershock are led by longtime player/manager Nick Dzioba and coaches Tom Stagis, Kyle Lentini, Jon Blais, Shane Fusco, and Neal Ayotte. The Bristol Knights are led by longtime veteran player/coach and 3rd year manager Rick Barrett and knightes veteran player/coaches Earl Oakes, Chris McGrath, Justin Martella, Kyle Pileski, and Steve Clout. Both teams welcome new players to their teams, and are looking to build upon the 2020 season.

As a bonus, the Bristol Greeners and the Bristol Knights finally meet in a preseason interleague exhibition game at 6:00PM before the CTL opener at Muzzy Field. The Greeners, led by manager AJ Lorenzetti, were a longtime TriState Baseball league team, who played last year in the Nutmeg State Baseball League (due to no Tristate last year).  This year the Greeners decided to jump into the GHTBL.  The Greeners and Knights have played exhibition games twice before but it’s been at least 8-9 year since the last time.

Fans, family, friends all allowed at Muzzy Field, we just ask that people follow rules social distance in stands, etc. Come down for a good night of baseball.
