Saturday July 14th was a perfect baseball day… sunny, hot but not too excessively hot, and NO RAIN (like we unfortunately had in 2017). The 3rd year of the CTL Summer Classic was a memorable day for all. All 10 teams played in our 5 back to back games. It is definitely the jewel in the middle of the season for the Connecticut Twilight League. The day was brought to you in part by 3 fantastic local pubs… Vaughan’s in Hartford Sponsored game one, City Steam Brewery sponsored game 3 (the rematch of last years championship series), and Willimantic Brewing Company sponsors games 2, 4, and 5. Also huge thanks to everyone with the Yard Goats and Dunkin’ Donuts Park for helping make the day very special.
