This June 25th, the Connecticut Twilight League will host their 2nd Annual CTL Summer Classic. This event is becoming a yearly tradition, and giving all our teams a chance to play on a premiere field…aka the Brand New Dunkin’ Donuts Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats of the AA Eastern League.

All ten of the Connecticut Twilight League teams will play in one of 5 games throughout the day. Games will be limited on time so that the late games all get in without issue. The specific team matchups and game start times for 2017 have yet to be determined. Stay tuned for more info in the next month or so. There will be NO charge for admission, so please bring all your families and friends to root on your CTL ballplayers.

The CTL Summer Classic started last year in 2016, when plans were made to have the special event at Dunkin’ Donuts Park. Unfortunately the delays to the park meant our event had to find a new venue in for its inaugural year. The league moved the game to the fantastic turf baseball field at Central Connecticut State University. The teams played on one of the hottest days of the year, but the day was a resounding success. There were some crazy games including a Glastonbury Pirates walk off win.

Now that the stadium is ready to launch new in 2017, The Connecticut Twilight League is very happy to celebrate more high quality baseball in Connecticut.
