The Plaza Azteca Indians wrapped up first place in the West Division with a 5-1 victory over Elmer’s Friday night at East Catholic. Brian Pinney tossed a 3 hitter with the lone run being a Nick Dinino solo HR. He fanned 9 in the win. Matt Morrison suffered the loss for Elmers. The Tribe broke open a close game, 2-1, with 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th, highlited by a Jordan Melendez 2 run double. CJ Inturri had 3 hits and an RBI for the winners as well.
